 Ans. Mr Wonka mentions Douglas fir, oak, Cedar and Bristlecone pine trees. He says that the  Bristlecone pine tree lives the longest.

(ii) How long does this tree live ? Where can you find it ?

Ans. This tree lives over 4000 years. We can find this tree on the slopes of Wheeler Peak in Nevada, U.S.A.

Qus.2 How many of the oldest living things can you remember from Mr. Wonka’s list? Do you think all these things really exist, or are some of them purely imaginary ?

Ans. I remember some of the oldest living things from Mr. Wonka’s story. These are an old Russian farmer Petrovitch , a 200 years old tortoise , a 51 years old horse and 700 years old Cattaloo. I think these all things are imaginary.

Qus.3 Why does Mr Wonka collect items from the oldest things ? Do you think this is the right way to begin his invention ?

Ans. Mr Wonka collects items the oldest things to invent a new medicine that will change a  young man into old. This is not the right way to begin this invention.

 Ans. The twenty year old volunteer became an old man of seventy five. The name of this  invention is Vita-Wonk.

(ii) Name some large trees commonly found in your area .. Find out something about them (How old are they ? “ Who planted them ? Do birds eat their fruit ?), and write two or three sentences about each one of them .

Mango :-  There is a huge mango tree in the Panchayati Land  of our village. People say that the tree is also more than two hundred years old. A sadhu had planted it there.
